Auray is a charming little town located in southern Brittany, not far from the Gulf of Morbihan. "Les deux rivières" is a marked hiking trail of 11.7 km which allows you to explore the rivers Auray and Bono, Port St Goustan and the 16th century St Avoge Chapel. Additionally, “Detour d’Art” is a special tour for lovers of history and legends, offering a guided tour of 22 remarkable chapels in the area.
If you are an art lover, do not miss the galleries and studios of the many artists in the area, who often open their doors to visitors during the season. You will find the city’s friendly residents every Monday morning at the big farmers’ market, which is the usual meeting place for regulars.
